The National Association of Women Business Owners Birmingham Chapter was established in 1990.  It grew and developed from an entrepreneurial group of women (WBOC) who saw value in collaborating with each other in the early 1980's.    These women have grown to include top women business owners in our area. 

We are made up of women business owners across industries -- service, manufacturing, consulting and more.  Our owners have businesses that cater to corporate and individual clients.  We meet the 4th Tuesday of each month, alternating between breakfast, lunch and business after hours. 

Our national organization (www.nawbo.org), is the voice of America's women business owners.  Established in 1975, NAWBO has helped women evolve their businesses by sharing resources and by providing a single voice to shape economic and public policy.  NAWBO has 9000 members and 80 chapters.
